This is the first video using the new Single pin BB mount developed by Sportscamera, developed by Doc and Juha. We sent Doc out as our crash-test dummy on a day that had 6ft swell so there was plent of push to minimise the effect of the GoPro’s drag under the slick. Doc knew it would be out on right-handers, so he mounted it on the left rail so the board would hold the rail strongly on the face side. It’s underneath the slick to give a view not seen before. The GoPro HD has a firmware upgrade which lets the cam shoot upside down, but downloads the footage the correct way up.
